Use AddSign in ChatGPT
Connect with your AddSign login, no API key. Then send documents for signature, check who signed, remind signers, and get the signed PDF just by asking.
Set it up
- 1
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Plugins → Add → “Create custom MCP server”
This option is available on ChatGPT plans that allow custom MCP servers. Once AddSign is listed in ChatGPT’s plugin directory, you will be able to search for “AddSign” instead.
- 2
Enter the AddSign server details
Name: AddSign. Server URL: https://addsign.io/api/mcp. Authentication: OAuth (leave the advanced OAuth settings as they are). Confirm you want to continue, then create it.
- 3
Sign in to AddSign and click “Allow access”
A window opens on addsign.io showing “ChatGPT wants to connect to your AddSign account”, what it will and will never be able to do, and that you will return to chatgpt.com. Log in (or sign up free), then click Allow access. No API key, and your password stays with AddSign.
- 4
Ask ChatGPT
Click “Try in chat” and ask “What AddSign templates do I have?”. Then try “Which of my documents are still waiting for signatures?” or “Send the NDA template to Maria Lopez, maria@example.com”.
What ChatGPT can never do in AddSign
Cancel or delete documents, change your templates, touch billing, or see your API keys. Every send and reminder is recorded in the document's audit trail, and you get an email for every document it sends.
